The thing you have to understand about Max is he may not talk too much, but he is always, always singing. It’s kind of like living with an iPod stuck on shuffle. The last couple of days he has been stuck on ’Just The Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars. Yesterday evening Max kept touching his hand to my cheek and singing to me:
‘When I see your face
There’s not a thing that I would change
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for a while
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are”
Of course I melt every single time, but I know who the amazing one really is.
