This week hasn’t been so bad for me, except for on Wednesday when my older son Max had an early release day from school.
Kids with autism don’t always handle a change in routine well at all, and half day at school upsets Max far worse than missing a full day would. This last early release day went so poorly (there was a major resurgence of hitting) that it actually has me wondering if it wouldn’t be better to just keep him home on early release days, but I really doubt the school would like that.
The good news is I managed to muddle through. Not only did I have a Ryan Gosling Friday to look forward to, but the Hallmark Channel is going to have Mary Tyler Moore Show Marathon on Sunday, April 1.
Ryan is looking forward to it too.
But don’t worry, he is still keeping on top of his other important duties,
such as going to IEP meetings.
And being generally understanding and sensitive.

Looks like your boys get the “awesome” naturally.
Aaaaaw! Thank you!
I tried to post a comment on your blog, but blogger does not like me this morning.
I loved all of yours but the first one is my favorite, because I would pay good cash money for a nap right now!
Oh! I love me some cold duck! Can I come over for some and some fondue?
Why not? What’s better than a fondue party?
The last one made me laugh, my son wonders around with his nearly closed; I guess things are just more awesome that way
They must be!
Love this! I may need Ryan to come rub my feet after our IEP meeting in a couple weeks. Do you mind sharing him?
There’s plenty of Ryan to go around!
Ohhhh, I’m right there with you. Early Release days are a thorn in my side. They are a creation of the devil. I swear it.
Yes! Yes they are!
